Abstract :

In this paper, the authors investigate the initial coefficient bounds for a new generalized subclass of multivalent functions related to Sigmoid function. Also the relevant connections to Fekete-Szegö inequality and Hankel determinant for these classes are briefly discussed. Our results serve as a new generalization in this direction.

Abstract :

In manpower planning, one of the most important variables is duration until a specified event occurs. This is frequently the completed Length of service until leaving a job, which enables us to predict staff turnover. In manpower planning it is commonly the case that employees withdraw from active service for a period of time before returning to take up post at a later date. Such periods of absence are frequently of major concern to employers who are anxious that employees return as soon as possible. A model is derived in which the demand for manpower is assumed to be a random variable. Since the demand for manpower is not deterministic, it undergoes fluctuations. It may be noted that the demand distribution satisfies the so called Lack of Memory Property (LMP). Recently, there has been much attention given to higher order equilibrium distributions associated with a given distribution function. In this paper, a optimal recruitment policy has been discussed using Setting Clock Back to Zero(SCBZ) property using Equilibrium distribution. Numerical examples are also highlighted.

Abstract :

It is established that under certain conditions a Schur Complement in bicomplex representation of q-EP is as well a q-EP matrix. As an application a decomposition of a partitioned matrix into a sum of bicomplex representation of q-EP matrices is given.

Abstract :

In this paper a layout design of an ultra-compact CMOS inverter using silicon nanowire field effect transistor with minimal power dissipation while matching the transient performance of bulk and SOI CMOS circuits is proposed. In this study, we took into account the strengths of nanotechnology including low static and dynamic power dissipation, suppression of short channel effect (SCE) and drain-to-source breakdown voltage, surface mobility enhancement and the ease of manufacturability. We analyzed different component which gives low static power dissipation. Once the body dimensions are determined, dc characteristics of the optimal n and p-channel transistors are evaluated in terms of SCE, DIBL, drain-to-source breakdown voltage and noise margin (NM). In this paper layout extraction is presented, which is a method of achieving low dynamic power dissipation.

Abstract :

This study was conducted to evaluate if there is a significant contribution of technology aided instruction to the performance of the students in topic circle.
The score of the students came from five secondary schools in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi under Deped- ARMM, on the researcher-made test served as the performance of the students and were analyzed. The researcher-made test was validated by the experts and item analyzed using Rasch Model. ANOVA and t-Test were employed as statistical treatment of the data.
This study found that there is a significant difference on the performance of students between technology- aided instruction and traditional methods. Apparently, the technology-aided instruction was better than traditional teaching in terms of increasing academic achievement of Grade 10 students; it can be that technology such as power point presentation can enhance student’s learning, prolong their attention span, and memory retention. These conform to the findings of Clark6, Apperson et. al.1, Pearson et. al.20, and Sazabo and Hasting27; Moreover, out of five high schools only BSTHS did not have enough learning in mathematics particularly on the concept of circle.

Abstract :

This paper aims to study the dynamical behaviours of an SIQR epidemiological model. Positivity and boundedness of the system are discussed. Stability analysis of the equilibrium points is presented. Numerical simulations are carried out to validate our analytical findings. Implications of our analytical and numerical ûndings are discussed critically.
