Abstract: Seven different cotton cvs. having suscept and resistant responses towards Xanthomonas campestris pv. malvacearum were studied to determine the extent of in vivo secretion and activity of proteolytic enzyme in their leaves after 10-, 13-, 16-, 19- and 22- days of inoculation of the blight bacterium. It was apparent that susceptibility was correlated to enhanced production and activity of such enzyme in the leaves as a result of host - pathogen interaction. On the contrary, under similar conditions, weak and low level protease action was discernible during resistance. Proteases in the form of endopeptidases decompose proteins in the cell wall and protoplasm forming amino acids which may be utilised directly by the plant. or the pathogen. Keywords : Susceptibility, resistance, proteases, xanthomonas campestris pv malvacearum, cotton.
BI - Loops Abstract: In this paper we define a new algebraic structure called bi-loops. The bi-loops which we introduce here are non-associative structures which may find itself well placed in industries. In this paper we mainly study the algebraic aspect of bi-loops.
Polymetallic Complexes : Tetranuclear
Complexes
of Mnll,Coll, Nill, Cull,
Znll, Cdll and Hgll with Formazan derivatives
as Ligands Abstract: [Bis-(1-Phenyl-3-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-formazan]-diphenyl ether, a chelating bis-bidentate ligand, is capable of forming peculiar tetrameric complexes with Coll, Nill, Cull, Mnll, Znll, Cdll, and Hgll ions. The complexes have been characterised on the basis of elemental analysis, conductance, magnetic susceptibility, i.r., electronic, e.s.r., n.m.r. spectral data. Coll,Cull, Mnll complexes are either octahedral or distorted octahedral, Nill complex square planar and Znll, Cdll and Hgll complexes are tetrahedral.
Petro-Chemical behaviour and potential
utilization of the coal deposits of yellandu coalfield, andhra pradesh (India) Abstract: Yellandu coalfield is situated outside the western margin of Pranhita-Godavari basin. These coal deposits are Permian in age and coal seams occur in association of Barakar sandstones. In present paper an attempt has been made to study the petro-chemistry of Yellandu coals and based on petrographic and geochemical properties their utilization has been discussed.
Common Fixed Point Theorem in
Banach space Abstract: In this paper, we obtain a common fixed point theorem for three selfmaps in a Banach space which extends the results of Abboui1 and Rhoades3. |
