It is a matter of pleasure to pen foreword for this book, which focusses on the current problem of Environmental Pollution as a consequence of development.  The editing of any book like "Dimensions of Pollution" edited by Dr. A.H.Ansari, Professor of Chemistry, Saifia P.G.College of Science and Education is really a task and painstaking job but it is worth to do so as a service to the protection of environment.  The book provides a large spectrum of researches to the scientists as to how different studies are required to cope with the problems of environmental pollution.

Pollution is one dimension of multisectorial and multidimensional aspects of the environment.

The book "Dimensions of Pollution" is an exclusive publication on pollution embodying research articles of eminent scientists from developed as well as developing countries.  It encompasses multifaceted approach on the topic and will prove to be as asset possession for the environmental scientists.

I welcome this clear and simple exposition of the environmental pollution in the form of book, "Dimensions of Pollutions" and expect a welcome response from the students, teachers and researchers.
