Vertex-edge Matrix of fuzzy Graphs
W.B. VASANTHA KANDASAMY and REGIN THANGARAJ

Department of Mathematics Indian Institute of Technology, Madras  Chennai – 600 036 (India)

Abstract :

In this paper for the first time two new notions in fuzzy graphs viz., vertex-edge matrix (v-e matrix) of a fuzzy graph and
dominant fuzzy graph graphs are introduced. Several properties enjoyed by them are enumerated. Some interesting results in this direction is obtained.

Keyword : Fuzzy graphs, dominant fuzzy graphs, strict fuzzy graphs, vertex-edge matrix (v-e matrix) of a fuzzy graph.

Special Elements In Semigroups
K. JAYSHREE and P. GAJIVARADHAN

Department of Mathematics, Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai – 600 030 (India)

Abstract :

This paper defines the notion of special elements like Smarandache zero divisors, Smarandache units, Smarandache
idempotents and Smarandache nilpotnents for semigroups. This is the first time such study has been carried out on semigroups

Keyword : Smarandache zero divisors, Smarandache units, Smarandache idempotents and Smarandache nilpotnents.

Study of Semigroup Semirings Using chain lattices as Semirings
K. JAYSHREE and P. GAJIVARADHAN

Department of Mathematics, Pachaiyappa’s College, Chennai – 600 030 (India)

Abstract :

In this paper we study semigroup semirings using chain lattices as semirings. Such study is new and innovative. Condition for these semigroup semirings to contain special elements like zero divisors, units and idempotents are obtained.

Keyword : Semigroup semirings, Chain lattices, symmetric semigroup, zero divisors.

Abstract :

In this paper we introduce a new class of closed maps namely 0g s-closed maps also introduce a new class of homeomorphisms called 0g s*-homeomorphisms. Further we show that the set of all 0g s*- homeomorphisms form a group under the operation composition of maps.

Keyword : 0g s-closed maps; 0g s*-closed maps; 0g s-homeomorphisms; 0g s*-homeomorphisms.
