    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The paper deals with the 1-parameter exponential distribution when the observations are progressive type II censored. Using a generalized non-informative prior, Bayes estimators of scale parameter and reliability function are proposed. The proposed estimators are compared with their corresponding MLE&amp;#39;s and BLUE&amp;#39;s on the besis of a Monte Carlo Simulation study of 1000 samples.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
