<p style="text-align: justify;">The combined effect of viscous dissipation and radiation on transient free convection flow past an infinite vertical porous plate has been studied numerically using Crank Nicolson finite difference scheme. It is found that the steady-state solution is reached after time ts = 8.5. It is also observed that due to greater viscous dissipative heat or the presence of radiation, there is a rise in the skin friction and a fall in the Nusselt number.</p>
