    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In this paper, a new notion of compactness has been developed in fuzzy topology generated by fuzzy metrics with a continuity based approach basis. The results provide an idea that fuzzy compactness is a good extension of ordinary compactness.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
