    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;An approximate solution of the energy equation of a non-Newtonian fluid past a rotating porous disk has been carried out. The effects of Ekman number, the non-Newtonian parameter. The Prandfl number, Eckert number has been shown through graphs. Unlike flow field it has been noticed that the temperature field is affected by the terms of order d&lt;sup&gt;2&lt;/sup&gt; but not by the terms of order d when solved by the method of Kelley using Fourier series analysis.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
