    <abstract language="eng">&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In this paper, we studied the MHD oscillatory flow of a micropolar fluid through a porous medium over a vertical porous plate. The expressions for the velocity field, angular velocity and temperature filed are obtained analytically. The effects of time &lt;em&gt;t&lt;/em&gt;, Hartmann number &lt;em&gt;M&lt;/em&gt;, Darcy number &lt;em&gt;Da&lt;/em&gt;, Grashof number &lt;em&gt;Gr&lt;/em&gt;, viscosity ratio b and micro-gyration vector on the velocity field, angular velocity and temperature filed studied in detail.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
