Abstract :

An approximate solution of the energy equation of a non-Newtonian fluid past a rotating porous disk has been carried out. The effects of Ekman number, the non-Newtonian parameter. The Prandfl number, Eckert number has been shown through graphs. Unlike flow field it has been noticed that the temperature field is affected by the terms of order d2 but not by the terms of order d when solved by the method of Kelley using Fourier series analysis.

Abstract :

In this paper, theory of games dealing with decision making process in competitive situation considering the ambiguity of decisions with uncertainty and imprecision of information has been studied. Fuzzy game theory has been established in near past. Studies will be made on different results on multi-objective fuzzy game.

Abstract :

In this paper, we studied the MHD oscillatory flow of a micropolar fluid through a porous medium over a vertical porous plate. The expressions for the velocity field, angular velocity and temperature filed are obtained analytically. The effects of time t, Hartmann number M, Darcy number Da, Grashof number Gr, viscosity ratio b and micro-gyration vector on the velocity field, angular velocity and temperature filed studied in detail.

Abstract :

The paper is addressed to the introduction of some new subspaces of a fuzzy topological space viz. fuzzy semi closed and fuzzy semi regular sub-space, extremely disconnected sub-space. We also find out some properties of such spaces relative to the fuzzy topological space.

Abstract :

In this paper, we improve the result of Das and Naik2 in two directions. The first one is the generalization for fuzzy metric space instead of Metric space the second one is the replacement of the condition of continuity, commutativity and completeness by the weaker one i.e. reciprocally continuous compatibility and association of sequences.

Abstract :

This chapter studies the effect of chemical reaction on transient hydrymagnetic and thermal behavior of free convection flow past a vertical plate embedded in a porous medium. The governing equations are solved numerically by applying finite difference method. The results are obtained for velocity, temperature concentration and skin-friction profiles. The numerical values are presented graphically for pertinent parameters like magnetic parameter (M), Prandtl number (Pr), Schmidt number (Sc), Permeable parameter (k), Buoyancy ratio parameter (N).

A nonlinear hiv/aids epidemic model with simple mass action interaction
Sandip Omar (sandippmar@yahoo.com)
Vivekananda Grmodyog P.G. College, Dibiyapur - 206 244 Auraiya (INDIA)
Abstract :

In this paper, a simple deterministic mathematical model is proposed to study the transmission of HIV/AIDS in a population with variable size structure. The model is applicable to a population of homosexual males with constant immigration rate and natural mortality rate. The model has been studied qualitatively using stability theory. It is shown that the positive non-trivial equilibrium is always locally stable but it may become globally stable under certain conditions showing that the disease becomes endemic due to constant migration of the population into the community.

Abstract :

In this article the Homotopy Analysis Method (HAM) is employed to compute an analytical approximation to the solution of the Harmonic oscillator, Duffing oscillator and Beam-beam interaction in storage rings under the influence of noise. Some plots are presented to show the reliability and simplicity of the method.

Abstract :

In quasi-Newton, there are several of updated approximation formulas and one of them is Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfard-Shanno (BFGS) method. The convergence of BFGS method are depends on the search direction, dk and step size, ak. To determine step size, many recent author uses only single type of step size and proved its super linear convergence but in this paper we propose a modification and combination on two step sizes in BFGS algorithm to solve unconstrained optimization problems. The numerical results based on the number of iteration and function evaluation will be provide at the end of this paper
